It was a complete solution that involved cutting the floor and slab in my basement, digging the hole, installing the receptacle, two pumps, a battery, the alarm module, and the piping up to the foundation, which had to be drilled to the outside of the house. From there, the pipe had to be run underground for 30 feet toward the street. It was a turnkey project.
The employees of Sous-sol Confort (both during the evaluation and the work) were very friendly and attentive. The work was completed in less than six hours, including cleanup. I had prepared well: I had cleared the area and specified my expectations precisely. They carried out everything exactly as I wanted, minimizing the size of the holes as much as possible, both in the floor and the wall. It was impeccable.
It was important to me that the lid of the receptacle be easy to open. I mentioned it to the employee that morning, and he spontaneously proposed a custom modification to meet this need. That was personalized service.
Time will tell if the pumps and battery will work well in the long term, and in the coming years, I will find out if the company's after-sales service meets expectations, but for the evaluation and installation, it was perfect.
