Resolution

At Sous-Sol Confort Inc., we offer a comprehensive solution for waterproofing the foundation of the house. We begin with a free on-site evaluation to better understand the problem. Then, we recommend an exterior foundation waterproofing solution to prevent any future damage. We start by excavating around the foundation to access the area to be treated. Next, we apply a liquid membrane called Tar to prevent water from penetrating the foundation. We then install a second rigid membrane called Delta MS, which directs water towards the French drain. We pay great attention to the precise installation of the drain to ensure optimal performance. We use quality materials to prevent soil infiltration and other unwanted materials. Additionally, we add a 30 cm layer of gravel to enhance surface water drainage. Finally, we cover the drain with a geotextile to maintain the cleanliness of the stones and ensure unobstructed drainage. To complete the solution, we install a SumPlus sump pump equipped with an exterior discharge line that directs water away from the foundation. We also implement a Safe Gard drainage system that allows water to flow in case of freezing or conduit blockage.
