Repairing Internal Basement Crack in Saint-Eustache, QC
Challenge
Our client, Mr. Singh, residing in the city of Saint-Eustache, was facing an internal basement (foundation) crack that allowed water to seep in during snowmelt and rains. He wanted to resolve this issue as it had been persisting for some time, and he had attempted, without success, to repair it with ineffective products.
Resolution
In this case, our solution involved using our polyurethane-based product that we inject into the crack. We offer a highly effective solution by injecting a liquid resin under high pressure directly into the crack, filling the space with a waterproof and impermeable material. We only need to drill a few entry points on each side of the crack along its length to seal the gap. Then, we cover the crack with a polyurethane-based coating to achieve a nice light gray finish that complements the surrounding concrete. This protection is permanent and highly effective.
