Repairing Internal Basement Crack in Laval-Ouest, QC

Challenge

Our client, Mr. Mathieu, residing in the city of Laval-Ouest, was facing an internal crack in the basement (foundation) that allowed water to penetrate during snowmelt and rains. He wanted to solve this problem because it had persisted for some time, and he had unsuccessfully attempted to repair it with ineffective products.

Resolution

In this case, our solution involved using our polyurethane-based product that we inject into the crack. We offer a highly effective solution by injecting a liquid resin under high pressure directly into the crack, thereby filling the space with a waterproof and impermeable material. We simply drill a few entry points on each side of the crack along its entire length to seal the breach. Next, we cover the crack with a polyurethane-based coating to achieve a nice light gray finish that blends with the surrounding concrete. This protection is permanent and very effective.
