Our experts at Sous-Sol Confort conducted a free assessment and recommend the installation of a waterproofing system, including the FlowDrain interior drain, the 20 mil Vapor Barrier Pro membrane, the SumPlus sump pump system, and accessories for the SafeGard discharge line. To start the installation of the drainage system, a trench is dug around the internal perimeter of the basement, at the joint between the wall and the floor, to position the FlowDrain drains on a gravel bed. Next, the floor is covered with concrete. Once the drains are installed, collecting infiltrated water and directing it to the SumPlus sump pump system, a perforated receptacle is installed two feet deep in the ground. Finally, a hermetic lid with a floor drain is put in place. The sump pump system then evacuates the water outside the house through a successfully installed independent SafeGard discharge line. Additionally, a Vapor Barrier was installed along the foundation wall for moisture protection.

Additionally, a support is placed to support the powerful pump, accompanied by a battery-powered alarm that automatically sounds when the water reaches a level higher than the pump should normally start. Finally, a hermetic lid with a floor drain is attached. The sump pump system then evacuates the water outside the house through a successfully installed independent SafeGard discharge line.
