Next, we recommend an exterior foundation waterproofing solution to prevent any future damage. We begin by excavating around the foundation to access the area to be treated. Then, we apply a liquid membrane called Tar to prevent water from penetrating the foundation. We then install a second rigid membrane called Delta MS, which directs water to the French drain. We place great importance on the precise installation of the drain to ensure optimal performance. We use quality materials to prevent infiltrations of soil and other unwanted materials. Additionally, we add a 30 cm layer of gravel to enhance surface water drainage. Finally, we cover the drain with a geotextile to maintain the cleanliness of the stones and ensure unobstructed drainage. To complete the solution, we install a SumPlus sump pump equipped with an exterior discharge line that directs water away from the foundation. We also set up a SafeGard discharge system that allows water to flow in case of freezing or clogging of the conduits.
